16mm High x Ø45mm Screw Through Furniture Glide

BPF's 16mm High x 45mm Diameter Screw Through Plastic Furniture Glides or Cabinet Feet, are perfect when you're looking to raise products off the floor and this is just one of a wide range of  different style furniture glides we supply.  Generally the Screw Through options have a central hole which you can fix through, using either woodscrews or threaded screws giving protection to floors and enhancing mobility of furniture. 

Also referred to as Legs, Feet, Furniture Sliders and Levellers, these products are designed for sofas, couches, settees, cabinets, divans, tables, sideboards, pedestals, and general wooden furniture frames.  Our glides provide durability and smooth movement across a wide variety of surfaces but if you find this isn't the right component for you, then you are likely to find what you're looking for from within our Complete Range of Glides, which we categorise as Push In Furniture Glides, Screw In Furniture Glides or Nail In Furniture Glides.

Unlike our threaded glides, you don't need a threaded insert to receive these as most customers tend to just use woodscrews but if you did decide you want the security of a threaded fixing, then you'll hopefully find a matching threaded insert from within our T Nut and D Nut Insert options.

I was looking for furniture glides to go underneath a heavy oak TV unit and decided on one's from this company, the price was very good and so I ordered an extra two, the glides arrived about 3 days later and are actually far better quality than I was expecting. I've fitted them with just a 25mm countersunk screw and they are perfect, I really cannot fault the service and the quality.

Would have preferred something about 70mm wide and 18-20mm high, but these were the closest I could find. They do what's required.

I knew what I was getting as I have bought this product before. It is perfect for the purpose I had in mind. I use these under a shed to keep the wooden bearers off the ground thus maintaining a waterproof support but allowing air to circulate keeping everything dry and rot free.

A: Hello, I'm afraid this glide hasn't gone through an official testing house to be certified, so I can't give you an actual load rating. What I can say though, is that we sell lots of them to companies using them in the manufacture of furniture without any adverse reaction. I have just made the product available to order as a free of charge samples online, if you wanted to put one in your basket and try it, before committing to buy. Hope all ok! If you need more than one to run proper tests, then you're more than welcome to return them if upon receipt, you don't think they will be up to the task. If it gives you any piece of mind though, we've been selling them for over 15 years now and have never had one fail on application, to the best of my knowledge. BPF WebSales

Q: I require set of 4 for heavy armchair. Needs to slide over carpet as chair is moved each day. Do these glide? Thanks in anticipation

A: At the time of writing they are "in stock" so there is no minimum order, you can order just 4pcs. These are designed to "glide" so should work like that, depending on the application however you are best of ordering them to test - and if they are not suitable then you can return them for a refund.
