The X3 EVO 2 Piece Meccano Legs (600mm) are a core component of the X3 EVO modular desking system, providing a flexible solution for creating single desks, back-to-back bench desks and larger multi-user workstation layouts. Supplied as a pair of commercial-grade steel legs, these modular Meccano-style legs are designed to be used with compatible X3 beams, allowing you to build bespoke office furniture configurations that can adapt as your workspace evolves.

The X3 EVO range has been developed to improve installation speed, enhance cable management and comply with the latest BS EN 527-1:2011 workplace ergonomics standard. Featuring a 722mm under-desk height, these legs provide the recommended working height for modern office environments and are ideal for office furniture manufacturers, fit-out contractors, educational facilities and commercial offices.

Unlike the fully welded version, the 2-piece Meccano leg offers maximum flexibility. The modular construction allows different beam lengths and extensions to be combined, making it the preferred choice for scalable bench desk systems and phased office installations.

The latest EVO design introduces a compact top fixing that replaces the previous steel mounting plate. This creates significantly more usable space beneath the desktop for cable trays, power modules and IT infrastructure, while reducing assembly time thanks to a simplified single-fix installation.

If you're extending an existing X3 installation, we can continue supplying the original 695mm leg during the transition period, making it easy to match earlier project phases.
