40mm Petal Handwheel, M8 Open Female

These Petal Profile Handwheels come with a Female Thread and are suitable for a whole host of applications and it's important to note that the Dimensions listed, refer to the Approx. Diameter of the Grip by the Threaded Boss.

Adjustment is via a Threaded Female Insert which is either a Brass or Zinc Construction and you need to consider that with most of these products, there's a Boss just under the Handwheel, to prevent fingers from being crushed.  

This particular model is produced in Nylon with a Gloss Finish and we show standard colours & finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

this is a great product but the recent price increases are shamefully forcing me to look elsewhere

Thanks for your review and I was intriguted to see what had happened with the pricing but it doesn't look to be so much of a price increase, as it appeaars your most recent order was for just 20 of these but prior to that, you were buying one of our suggested pack options of 100. Those quantity suggestions are pre-packed on the shelf so it's minimal effort for our warehouse to pick and pack those, hence the much better price and economies of scale obviously plays a part too. So if you wanted to revert back to the quantity you used to order them in, then you'll find your price drops back down to a very similar rate to what you'd always paid, which at the time of writing this would be 55p.

Use these for a dj lighting rig. They make it easy to put on and off the lights quickly. WOULD not use them on heavy lights above, as I use plastic covered lights not metal they are not heavy.

Q: What pitch is the thread please?

A: all our metric threads use standard pitch, so that's 1.25

Q: Does this part press-fit over a hex bolt head?
