10mm Round Ribbed Tube Insert

These 10mm round ribbed tube inserts are designed to provide a clean, secure finish for hollow round tubes and pipes. Thanks to the flexible lateral ribs running around the shank of the insert, they should be suitable for tube wall thickness of between 1 to 2mm metric (14-20 gauge imperial), unless otherwise stated. 

Manufactured from durable LDPE plastic, they are commonly used as protective end caps, tube feet, and finishing plugs across furniture, fabrication, and light industrial applications. They're designed to retain themselves inside tube, with the head sitting over the outer ends of the tube or pipe, sitting flush with the outside circumference of the tube and providing a neat finished appearance.

Sample provided quickly and worked well in the application. Ordered 200 more which came quickly. Will probably change to white version for cosmetic reasons only.

Q: Can you help me please, I see from the list of products that some list a wall thickness and others don't. If it doesn't show a wall thickness in the description and the drawing isn't too clear to me - can I assume you have a standard wall thickness that these parts would be?

A: Thanks for the question, and you're spot on with your assumption. Generally, if there is no specific tube wall thickness (or gauge size), advised on the listing then the insert in question will suit a tube with a wall thickness of between 1-2mm thick, or 14-18 Gauge(swg). It's always worth check the dimensional drawing though, which often give more information related to the product and help you double check you're going to get what you're expecting!
