46mm High x Ø55mm Screw In Chrome Furniture Glide

Our 46mm High x 55mm Diameter Chrome plated finish furniture gliders are a type of glide/foot which are commonly used as chair feet, sofa legs or as general furniture feet on a diverse range of products where feet are needed to raise frame heights; promoting stability and preventing damage to the flooring they are placed on.

They are an ideal solution for pre-existing furniture glides that need replacing following damage/breakage, for furniture levelling on uneven surfaces, or even just for a cosmetic upgrade.  This elegant range of round furniture glides are manufactured from Polyamid (PA) with a Chrome plated finish.

Also referred to as Legs, Feet, Furniture Sliders and Levellers, the Chrome finish on these gives a premium feel but if you find this isn't the right component for you, then you are likely to find what you're looking for from within our Complete Range of Glides, which we categorise as Push In Furniture Glides, Screw In Furniture Glides or Nail In Furniture Glides.

** Please note: To remove the plate from the base, you simply to pull them apart, it can require a little force to remove, but this is the correct way ** 

Unlike our threaded glides, you don't need a threaded insert to receive these as most customers tend to just use woodscrews but if you did decide you want the security of a threaded fixing, then you'll hopefully find a matching threaded insert from within our T Nut and D Nut Insert options.

All of these sofa legs/furniture feet also feature a square top plate, allowing you to screw straight to the underside of furniture. This metal fixing plate is made from durable zinc plated steel and comes pre-installed to the glider, making the furniture glide quick and easy to install.

As standard, this part is available with a chrome effect finish only. However, if you require an alternative colour then get in touch with our sales team today, as custom colours/finishes may be available on request, subject to MOQs and longer lead times.
