Steel Strike Plate | 26x22x1mm

Our range of strike plates are a type of small plate designed to be fitted to the inner face of the cabinet door, where the magnetic touch latch pin/cylinder would otherwise make contact with the door. Consequently, when closing the door, the strike plate pushes the touch latch pin/cylinder back in and locks it in place. The magnetism of both the touch latch and strike plate will subsequently hold the door closed.

To open the cabinet door, simply press the outside of the door panel (the strike plate will push the magnetic cylinder in and then release the magnetic catch). The cylinder will then pop out, subsequently pushing the door open a short way and enabling the user to then open the door fully; eliminating the need for handles or doorknobs.

This particular steel strike plate has a Ø5mm hole for screw fitting it to the cabinet door.
