The VL system installs securely between the floor and ceiling using a compression clamping mechanism with 100mm of height adjustment. If your ceiling is slightly lower than 238cm, the extrusion can be cut to fit. Please note - cutting the aluminium profiles or modifying parts will void the warranty. Always check your ceiling height carefully before installation.

Q: I have quite high ceilings, what is the maximum height these shelves can reach?

A: Hello. The tallest upright terminal extrusions we offer as standard are designed to fix 288cm to 298cm in height. However, should your ceiling exceed this range then please get in touch with our sales team for a quote. Q: I am looking to fit these shelved in an open plan apartment. Can these be fitted in apartments with plasterboard ceilings?

A: Yes, but you'll need to use a specific screw + plug for plasterboard. The factory have customers regularly using this system with plasterboard ceilings and generally, they'll use fixings like a Butterfly anchor (for plasterboard), which we assume are readily available. Q: Can you tell me what sort of load the shelving in this unit can support? I want to fill it with books.

A: Hello. The factory have advised that "In general for vertical line, the loading weight per shelf is not a problem. You can consider 25-30 KG per Shelf and with a good safety margin". I hope this assists. Kind regards, BOX15
