1200w x 600d Wooden Top, 25mm Thick

1200mm wide x 600mm deep quality 25mm thick MFC top (Melamine Faced Chipboard) with 2mm thick ABS (Acrylnitril Butadien Styrol) Edging and 2mm Radius all round.

One-Piece Top

Primarily designed for use with our K / X Series Desk Frames, these tops will generally come untemplated as standard, meaning you can use these with other table frames/bases. If you're buying a frame off us at the same time, the top will be templated to suit so it will have fixing holes, so you can easily assemble with the frame. However, if you're not buying one of our frames, then we regret that we can't offer you the templating service, as this is purely for customers buying our frames/desks.

We also offer customers buying the whole desk or table from us (frame + top), the option to have cable management holes cut. All we ask is that you advise us at the time of order and email us a drawing with desired location - the actual location may vary slightly, if for instance the hole interferes with fixing plates, or structural beams.

It's for these reasons above that we generally prefer to make tops to order but from time to time we do have tops listed as being in stock but please be aware that these are likely to have fixing holes on the underside, as they've usually been made to suit one or more of our frames.  They're still brand new but you need to be aware that if you're fixing to your own desk frame, there's likely to be redundant holes visible, obviously only from the underside!

If you have ordered a stock top but specifically want this with NO HOLES, then please let us know via the Spencial Notes / Comments section as you go through the order process and we will ignore the stock status at time of order and have it made to order for you at the mill, or we can physically check the stock top for you, to let you know the situation regarding holes.

We've only listed the most popular sizes/colours but obviously other size tops can be manufactured specially and in different finishes. Further technical information may be available if you click the Technical Data tab below, just next to the Photo Gallery.

As with all our tops, we cost them up to cover secure pallet shipping but we are happy to pass on the freight saving to you, if you prefer to collect from our Banbury showroom.

This table top came damaged to my house. However, I spoke to Box15 support and we managed to sort it out. I would only say that I feel the price of the table top was a bit too expensive (compared to Ikea equivalents). However, really good support!

Thanks for your review and I just wanted to clarify the situation with the pricing on the wooden tops. The price actually factors in, that to protect the top best, we don't tend to use carriers and have included the cost to ship on a dedicated pallet, within the price of the top. Obviously as people generally tend to collect from Ikea, this isn't something they have to factor in and we actually make mention on our product descriptions, that should you prefer to collect from our Banbury showroom, then we'd gladly pass on this freight saving, which on a single top would be a substantial percentage saving! At the time of shipping your order however, we weren't able to facilitate collections due to the COVID 19 situation and as our normal pallet network were only running a sporadic service, we had to entrust your top with a carrier which because of the risk of damage, we'd never normally do! Unfortunately, shipping that top boxed and loose with a carrier did indeed end up resulting in a damaged corner, which actually highlights the fact that our normal policy of shipping tops with a dedicated pallet network is actually fully justifiable! I'm glad to see that the arrangement we came to, of refunding you the full value of the cost of a top that you could source locally was acceptable and I thank you for working with us on this, in these unprecedented times.
