Thanks for your comments and I appreciate your issue and as I have experienced it before, I feel I am qualified to comment. Most chair manufacturers tend to use standard tube or box section which use regular corners, but because some chair manufacturers in the past have decided they want to make their chairs look a little different, they have occasionally used tube with exaggerated radiused corners.

It appears that your chairs are from this 'design led' movement, so apologies that our components don't fit perfectly but you'll probably find that when the 'clever' designer who came up with the specialist tube profile concept for the chairs launched his idea - they were probably met with a barrage of resistance by the relevant purchasing department within their organisation, who then had to go out and commission custom mould tools, to produce a cap to suit!

In summary, our product will fit the vast majority of applications which use standard tube but unfortunately some of the recipients of these original 'designer' chairs have been left high and dry, as standard fittings aren't compatible unfortunately!

It appears you might fall into this category, so perhaps this may be considered at your next 'Premises Committee Meeting', when discussing the situation.
