Short Spring Single Push Button Clip, 6.3 x 7.5mm

Button Clips have been a great benefit for the tube industry as they have extended the construction of assemblies made from tube by a considerable margin. They are used in applications requiring adjustment and in industries as diverse as toy manufacturer, medical mobility aids, shop fittings and leisure equipment. All of which require firm location and adjustment of operational parameters.

The Buttons are manufactured from Mild steel and Zinc Plated.
The Strip is Carbon Steel Austempered.

Standard production is spring steel body, zinc plated mild steel buttons, though as in most of our manufactures we do produce many variations (e.g. stainless buttons) to customer specification.

We don't specify tube sizes with this range deliberately, as experience tells us that customers use these for a wide variety of application and due to the nature of the product, it's not set in stone what particular size application it can be used on. For instance, the 9.5 x 11mm Clip is generally used in 40mm I.D. Tube but that's not to say it won't work in other scenarios.  It's for this reason, we encourage customers to utilise our free of charge sample service, which needs to be completed online. 

There is a further variation from our major output with the clip being made in one piece as a pressing. This produces a lighter and cheaper clip which has to be produced in large volume. They are made against specific order making manufacturing time a little longer.

We show standard colours and finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

Obtaining the correct size spring clip to match an existing clip proved very difficult but the BPF policy of offering a single sample made the task much easier

The whole ordering and delivery process is very smooth and efficient. Product as described and suitable but drawings would have been useful (as they do on many other products) rater than having to try physical samples. However samples are free and delivery quick so not a great hardship.

A: This is possible as a Made to Order item, so with that said - there are no samples available in Stainless Steel 304, as it's not already standard production. You can however order samples of the standard one, so you can at least assess size / suitability etc. With it not being a standard production item, we'd need to quote it through the office but before we get to that stage, you'd need to consider the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) to produce a special, would be 10,000 pieces - and there would clearly be a lead time of multiple weeks involved, in order for production to be scheduled. If those figures are viable then maybe check the 'standard' sample and at that stage, that sounds like the sensible point to run the numbers through for you.
