3/4-7/8" Thumbscrew Adjuster Assembly

A Tube Adjuster designed to Adjust & Lock Telescopic Tubes, available in a number of different sizes, with a Thumbscrew for crimping the tube in place. These Parts are made from Strong Nylon and have many uses including Clothes Props, Retractable Poles, Wheel Axles and many more applications.  

Although we can offer this part with an Integral Plastic Thread as a special order, the majority of these units come with a Metal Lock Nut inserted, and the unit comes fully assembled with an M8 Thumbscrew. The Metal Nut has an added advantage in that you can replace the Thumbscrew with a Metal Threaded Handwheel, without having to worry about a plastic thread getting stripped!

As with all our Tubular Products, we list them exactly as you would buy the tube so it's Outside Tube Dimension x Wall Thickness / Gauge Size. We show standard colours & finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

I thought the shipping was a little expensive given the small purchase however the product spec was easy to locate online and I got the package next day Excellent service.

Fitted perfectly to the end of a Wilko telescopic pole. And with a 19mm wardrobe rail, I now have a photo background pole that extends to 3mtr for just a few quid !

If I have any 'complaint' it's that the thumbolt is nylon into a steel nut. Would prefer a metal bolt ... but that would increase cost. It's easily substituted anyway.

Yes, you're right in fact that we do have certain customers that buy the set like you have - but then remove the nylon thumbwheel and replace it with a metal threaded handwheel. If you wanted to explore that as an option, you'll find these within our Miscellaneous and Building tab on the website.

This is a great design although the there could have been a little more time taken to clean up the seam after taken out of the mold.. rough, uneven edge on the bottom of the part... Other then that, I think it is a great design and will work perfectly for my application

A: The thumbscrew is M8, so any other product with a standard M8 thread could be used as a substitute. BPF WebSales
