5/8x5/8" Sq Plain Angled Insert, 16g

These plastic tube inserts are designed to knock into the ends of Tube & Box Section and the head has an Angled profile so it's particular suited to being used as feet on chairs and angled frames.  As with all our inserts, they're listed as you would buy the tube so it's Outside Dimensions x Wall Thickness / Gauge Size, or if you're trying to match up to a sample, the key dimension is the head size.  

The head is designed to sit flush with the outside of the tube whilst the shank on this particular insert has a plain shank with vertical ribs to give you interference on the internal tube wall. We show standard colours and finishes where possible but these are constantly changing so if you require a colour not listed in the drop-down, speak to us as we may well have added it since.

Q: Please could you give me the angle of the base of the feet. We need 25 degrees on the 22.2mm square, could these be they?

A: The factory have come back and confirmed that the angle on this insert is approx. 25 Degrees. However, your reference to 22.2mm Square has worried me somewhat as this part you've asked the FAQ on, is to suit a tube with EXTERNAL dimensions of 5/8" Square (15.875mm), meaning the internal measurement of the tube would need to be in the region of 13mm roughly. So if I've understood correctly and your tube (or the head of the insert) actually has an external dimension of 22.2mm Square, then you need to be ordering a 22mm (or 7/8") Square Angled Insert.
