Choosing the Right Kitchen Storage Systems

Choosing the Right Kitchen Storage Systems for Your Space: Updated for 2026

At BPF, we believe kitchen storage should combine style, functionality, and flexibility. That’s why we offer a range of innovative storage solutions that go beyond traditional shelving, helping you organise your kitchen efficiently while maximising space.

We currently offer four main kitchen storage systems:

In this post, we’ll break down the differences between these systems and help you choose the right solution for your kitchen—or even your home office kitchenette.

HANG Storage

The HANG storage system suspends a lightweight rack from your kitchen cupboards, creating extra storage without drilling into walls or tiles. The system uses studs and crossbeams installed under cabinets, utilising the often wasted space between the cabinet and worktop.

You can customise HANG storage with accessories like knife blocks, chopping boards, kitchen roll holders, shelves, and hooks. These attach to the crossbars, letting you organise your kitchen exactly how you want.

HANG TOP Storage

HANG TOP storage uses the same stud-and-crossbar system but mounts directly to the worktop rather than under cabinets. Modules stand 430mm high and come in widths of 600mm, 900mm, or 1200mm, in sleek black or titanium finishes. You can choose one or two crossbars depending on your needs.

HANG TOP uses the same accessories as HANG storage, which means you can mix and match both systems in the same room. For example, use HANG TOP over an empty countertop while HANG storage complements existing cabinets.

GRID Kitchen Storage System

GRID kitchen storage offers a modular, compression-fit rack system that slides between your worktop and wall cabinets. The aluminium pole structure supports customisable storage solutions.

At the base, plastic drawers store small items such as sandwich bags, bottle corks, or batteries. Above, you can add accessories to declutter your worktop. GRID accessories include:

  • 250mm shelves
  • Wine glass holders (hold up to 5 glasses)
  • Raised kitchen roll holders
  • Hooks in two sizes for utensils, towels, or oven gloves

GRID storage lets you adapt your kitchen layout as your needs change, keeping worktops tidy and accessible.

HORIZON Shelving

HORIZON shelving delivers minimalist, narrow shelves perfect for small jars, bottles, or spices. The internal structure allows you to attach hooks and other accessories seamlessly.

Although ideal for kitchens, HORIZON works in bathrooms for towels and bathrobes, or even in home offices for organising supplies. Available accessories include:

  • Kitchen roll holders
  • Sets of hooks
  • Soap dispenser holders
  • Chopping boards that double as knife blocks or sponge holders

Magnetic Kitchen Splashbacks & Accessories

For homeowners looking for maximum flexibility, our Magnetic Kitchen Splashback & Accessories range offers a modern alternative to traditional wall storage. Our magnetic splashback creates an adaptable storage wall that allows you to position accessories exactly where you need them. Kitchen towel holders, hooks, shelves, knife blocks, spice racks and wine holders attach directly to the magnetic surface without drilling, fixings or specialist tools.

As your storage needs change, you can simply move accessories around the splashback to create a layout that works for you. Whether you’re preparing food, entertaining guests or reorganising your kitchen, the system adapts in seconds. This flexibility makes magnetic storage particularly popular in modern kitchens where homeowners want to keep worktops clear while maintaining easy access to everyday essentials. The sleek design also complements contemporary kitchen styles, helping to create a clean, organised and clutter-free space.

If you’re looking for a storage solution that combines practicality, style and complete customisation, our Magnetic Kitchen Splashback system delivers all three.

Floor-to-Ceiling Solutions

For kitchens with limited worktop or cabinet space, we also offer floor-to-ceiling storage solutions. These modular units maximise vertical space while keeping items accessible and organised.

If you want advice on sizes, colours, or accessories, our customer support team can guide you.
