10 Clever Kitchen Organisation Hacks to Keep Your Space Clutter-Free

It doesn’t matter how much space you have in your kitchen – there’s never quite enough. At BPF, we offer a wide range of smart kitchen storage solutions, from countertop organisers to compression shelving systems, all designed to help you make the most of every inch. But often, it’s the small, thoughtful tweaks that make the biggest difference when it comes to keeping your kitchen tidy and functional.

That’s why we’ve put together our top kitchen organisation hacks to help you keep everything you need right at your fingertips.

Keep dishcloths and sponges tidy

Use a shower caddy to store dishcloths and sponges neatly, keeping them safely away from dishwasher tablets and electrical items. Secure it to the inside of a cupboard door or the wall near your sink using removable adhesive strips. After washing up, simply wring out your cloths and place them in the caddy to dry.

Stow away your ironing board

Opt for a pull-out ironing board that slides neatly into cabinetry when not in use – saving valuable space and keeping surfaces clutter-free.

Hang measuring spoons and cups

Attach small hooks inside cupboards or along a wall to hang measuring spoons and cups. This keeps them organised, easy to find, and always within reach when cooking.

Create a lid organiser

Tame unruly plastic lids by placing a cooling rack over a shallow container. Store the setup in a drawer or cupboard to keep lids upright and easy to access whenever you need them.

Use magnetic storage for knives

Install a magnetic strip or splashback to store knives safely and visibly. This not only frees up drawer space but also reduces the risk of accidental cuts when searching for utensils.

Organise saucepan lids

Fix hooks to the inside of cupboard doors to hold saucepan lids. This simple solution frees up shelf space and ensures you can quickly grab the right lid every time—just make sure the hooks are deep enough to hold them securely.

Maximise under-sink storage

Use tension rods inside cupboards to hang spray bottles, creating a second layer of storage and making better use of vertical space.

Make spices easy to see

Install narrow wall-mounted shelves or magnetic spice racks to keep herbs and spices visible and accessible. It’s a simple way to speed up cooking and reduce clutter.

Hang glassware for style and space

Under-cabinet glass racks are a great way to free up cupboard space while adding a stylish, professional touch to your kitchen.

Install a pop-up socket

Add a pop-up socket to your worktop for convenient access to power exactly where you need it. This keeps cables tidy and out of sight when not in use – and for extra convenience, consider one with built-in wireless charging.
