It got us thinking about all those annoying little jobs which you put off fixing because you don’t know where to start. Often, with those tasks, once you get started, don’t take that long.

So here are a few jobs we almost all have on our to-do lists for several months at a time, just waiting for fix-it inspiration to bite.

Headboard bolts

Often buying a bed is expensive enough. Sometimes it takes a while to get around to buying a headboard. Other times we choose to change our headboard to fit our décor. Yet, it doesn’t matter how safely you store those headboard bolts, they’re never where you expect them to be. Or if they are, the thread is damaged. Or maybe they simply aren’t the right size.
